    Fresh Healthy Mediterranean

An Ocala Restaurant Featuring Greek Mediterranean

Feta Mediterranean Cuisine is an Ocala restaurant and the lifes work of the Pomakis family. Our driving ambition is the simple and honest reflection of the Greek and Mediterranean menus. This vision is guided by the philosophy that all recipes must start with the freshest healthiest ingredients locally sourced when available.

This strict adherence to using only the freshest available ingredients holds true for grass pastured, grass and grain fed beef, lamb and pork and the freshest cold water Scottish and Alaskan wild caught salmon. We take each ingredient for every recipe seriously, meaningfully employed and explored in a deep understanding of the recipe. The goal, cut to the essence of the flavor, texture and aroma in an interpretation that is bold and honest and plated with joyful artistic finesse to excite the senses.

For your dining pleasure browse our Dinner Menu which contains many of the Mediterranean favorites you know and love with Chef Dimitri’s authentic interpretation and flair. One visit to historic downtown Ocala and Feta will be your new favorite restaurant.

And be sure to share your new find with your friends. Speaking of friends and sharing, spend time discovering our selection of wines from around the Mediterranean. And with our Monday thru Friday 3PM to 6PM happy hour specials you can gather even more friends together for good times.

    • 5 Stars I really want to try different things but the grape leaves appetizer is my consistent choice. Others with me say the pasta dishes are delish. Efgarestu! Visited October 2016
    • This is the coolest and trendiest spot in Ocala. Sit upstairs on the deck and get a view of Ocalla's downtown area. The pizza is great, the staff doesn't know the menu that well so you'll be on your own with that. But they have many many local beers to choose from. And it's cheap.

    • 5 Star Five star all the way. Can we say FRESH home made, thank you. Hummus is a must try. I had the salad with chicken. Feta cheese tomatos to black olives and grilled chicken. Dressing was fresh and home made. An outstanding lunch experience. I'll be back.

    • 5 Stars Wow! Sitting here now and had to add a review just because the food is that good. Service is wonderful as well! Only problem is that this place is too far from where I live. . Thank you!

    • Good Greek or Mediterranean food, freshly made salads, wine and desert. The Feta-Bruschetta is the best ever. I think I could eat their Greek Stir Fry every visit. A base of rice, completed with a healthy heaping of diced and grilled veggies, dashes of olive oil and white wine, chicken, shrimp, sesame seeds and house feta. Sooooo Good! They also make some of the most delicious Pizzas. Lunch is pretty much limited to pitas, wraps, and sandwiches and pizzas. It would be nice if they served some of their dinner items for lunch. There is lots of upstairs, downstairs and balcony seating. Wait staff is wonderful.

    • 5 Stars Made our reservations, sat right up front by the window, great service and great food. Started with appetizers which were fab, especially the calamari. Our table ordered mostly Greek and I ordered Italian. All our food was served hot and had great flavor. After all of us eating dinner, we stayed for dessert and coffee. We will return and recommend Feta. Visited September 2016

    • 5 Stars This place is one of the jewels downtown. They feature genuine Greek fare in a pleasant atmosphere. Dining room features a mezzanine level in addition to the main seating area. The building is an older historic one but nicely renovated without any loss of character, and is walking distance from the downtown square. Classic Greek menu with everything you would expect. The food is extremely well prepared and of high quality with a classy presentation. The experience feels like an upper class restaurant but perfectly balanced in a casual mood. The servers are professionals; knowledgeable, attentive and very personable. I have been there several times now and found this experience to be very consistent; it is very well managed. Best of all is the value; high quality food, great service, wonderful atmosphere...all at a very modest price point. Visited October 2016

    • 5 Stars We really enjoyed this new find. Excellent food. The wait staff were very helpful and friendly. There is seating as you walk in and there is seating upstairs. We were upstairs and I think that is the best spot. The roasted beet salad was very good and the gyro was also. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We will go back Visited November 2016

    • 5 Stars I had a really wonderful time at this restaurant. The server seated us right away and was very friendly throughout the meal, 1st floor and balcony seating, we sat on the balcony. I ordered the sangria which is made on site, sweet and citrusy. Dolmates for appetizer that were delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Finally for lunch ordered a gyro (sorry can't recall the name of it on the menu), also great. I will definitely return! Visited November 2016
    • 5 Stars We have been coming to Feta since discovering it a couple years ago, not long after moving to Ocala. My husband and I both love it and know that we can always count on a delicious meal. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell that everything is prepared with the best of care. He says that the Calamari is the best he has had anywhere, and I feel the same about the Spanakopita. We are always telling others about the restaurant and we have brought many with us as first timers. Everyone has enjoyed it! Last weekend, I brought 23 ladies to dinner after a Civic Theater matinee - it was a huge success!! Keep up the good work Chef Dimitri and this Feta fan will continue to bring new customers. As an added note, the waitstaff is terrific with very special kudos going to Alex. He is professional, attentive and overall a great addition to your team.
